Now Hiring -- School Improvement Grant Leadership Coordinator


SIG Leadership Coordinator
Strategic Learning Initiatives (SLI) is an educational non-profit organization based in Chicago. SLI supports communities of learners using research-based, high performance strategies, emphasizing shared leadership, professional development and family engagement to improve the education of children. 
We are looking for leadership coordinators, both full and part time, experienced working with administration and/or teachers in school transformation or turnaround; positions opening within Chicago, throughout Illinois, and possibly out of state.  
Qualifications:

                    Effective experience as a principal and/or teacher that includes improving outcomes for all students

                    Team-building skills, ability to focus a diverse group of professionals around a clear goal and then monitor progress towards that goal

                    Commitment to outcome-based accountability, data-driven decision-making, differentiated instruction, and continuous adult learning to improve student outcomes

                    Strong innovative thinking skills and ability to problem solve

Candidates must have excellent verbal and communication skills and the ability to work as a team player.  They must have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Education, five to seven years of classroom teaching/school administration experience, and experience in the design, delivery of workshops for educators and coaching.
